Job Summary

In this role, you will manage staff to ensure provision of safe and effective nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process. Responsibility for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to deliver that care. You will take some call in rotation with the staff. Communicate with Physicians on a regular basis.

 
Qualifications
Current license as a RN
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
3+ Years of experience as a RN in an Endoscopy required
1+ Years of leadership experience required
 

Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

 Education

  • Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
Licensure/Certification
  • State of Florida RN License or appropriate compact licensure required. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.  
  • BLS AHA provider required at the time of hire.

 

Experience

  • 3+ years related acute care Endoscopy experience required.
  • Management, supervisory experience preferred.

Call is required in this role.
