Field Operations Manager to join our organization on a long-term consulting engagement in the Coconut Creek, FL area. The Field Operations Manager is responsible for managingand supporting the Toll Equipment Maintenance contract field technicians at the Toll roads under the jurisdiction of the Florida's Turnpike.

Oversee CAI procedures and request for the field technicians Maintain files and logs to meet record keeping and follow-up requirements Regular interface with Florida Department of Transportation managers and supervisors to report problems and concerns 80% Daily travel within Southeast Florida's Turnpike (Company vehicle provided). Mentor, coach, and train supplemental team leads Provide exceptional customer service to the client Develop and maintain communication with field technicians Streamline all field operational and functional systemsScreen new hire resumes against minimal contract requirementEvaluate the performance of team membersEmployee onboarding and exitingSustain Fleet maintenance QualificationsExperience/Education Required
High school diploma or equivalent required Associates degree preferred in Electronics or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role Skills Required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong ability to lead others Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Knowledge of Windows 8 & 10, Microsoft 365 Knowledge of electronic circuitry Familiar with network and computer systems Ability to use a computer for communication and record keeping. Skills PreferredOther Requirements
Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Ability to pass quarterly MVR check Must be able to work any shift and available when requested. Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards Work is regularly performed both inside and outside in weather conditions and near moving traffic. Regularly required to:Bend, squat, crawl, reach and maneuver in tight spaces.Carry/lift up to 50 pounds, climb, pull, push, stand, twist, and walk.Drive a vehicle under written policies.
