Scope:
Directs activity for all Manufacturing programs at the plant.
Accountable for department people management, costs, schedules, scope and continuous process improvement.
Collaborates within and across functions, seeking broad input to support decision-making and issue resolution.
Complexity:
Applies advanced knowledge, managing staff to resolve common and complex business and technical issues.
Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements.
May have budget responsibilities.
Impact / Discretion:
Poor decisions or failure to deliver results will increase costs and may impact short-term goal achievement.
Activity is wide-ranging, affecting the immediate project area and the actions of suppliers and end users.
Interaction:
Manages groups of supervisors and/or individual contributors.
Engages in recruitment and ensures ongoing individual development for direct reports.
Prepares and delivers performance reviews.
Makes compensation decisions.
Works internally and externally, ensuring that decisions are reached through effective and mutually beneficial collaboration.
Demonstrates leadership in applying Maxeon values and inspiring others in team to do so.
Supervision:
Reports to Senior Manager or Director.
In some instances, may have functional or third party responsibility.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience · And 2+ years of people management experience
Post-graduate work is desirable
OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
Family Description:
Manages and establishes processes and standards for quality team. Responsible for developing and driving Plant quality metrics. Manages the design and installation of quality control processes, procedures and statistical techniques. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment. Manages Quality System aligned with Corporate, Industry, Regulatory Agencies & Customer requirements.
