Our client, a leading Financial company is hiring a Senior Technical Support Specialist on a W2 Contract basis.

Work Location: Tampa, FL

Senior Technical Support Specialist for Software Code Quality & Vulnerability Scanning Tools


This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work on Software Code Quality and Vulnerability Scanning Tools like BlackDuck, Checkmarx, Sonarqube, Contrast & Prevoty. The team works side by side with Developers& Engineers in providing technical support and onboarding of application to standard Client
Developers Tools. The group has set an ambitious goal to setup secure development environment and invest in latest technology that improves software code quality and reduces vulnerabilities. As part of the technology team, you will play a key role in achieving that goal.
The role requires a good understanding of software quality and vulnerability assessment concepts and best practice in this area. A significant set of challenges revolves around the understanding of multiple technology stacks and the ability to quickly learn new tool in that space.



Support Management:
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and manage customer expectation.
  • Reduce recurring issue using root cause analysis.
  • Proactively monitor and manage infrastructure reliability.
  • Technology Management:
  • Upgrade existing product along with Engineering.
  • Adopt new technology that gives competitive advantage to Major Financial Institution Developers.
  • Automate recurring support & monitoring activities to improve productivity.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Ensure allocation of quality vendor resource for support and project deliverables.
  • Proactively manage and monitor vendor deliverables
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Related Field or equivalent work experience
  • 6 + years software development experience and 6+ years of technical support experience as a team lead
  • Strong understanding of software quality and vulnerability assessment using scanning tools and at least
  • One year of hands on experience with a scanning tool.
  • 4+ years' experience with Linux & Windows (shell/batch scripting & server management), Java, .Net, LDAP, Active Directory, Oracle/SQL Server database (SQL, backup & recovery)
  • Must be a self-starter, effective listener, problem solver and team player.
  • Experience using Service Management Software (Service Now). ITSM certification is a plus.
