We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist II to join our Reynosa, Mexico Team.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World
Under limited supervision, responsible for carrying our broad assignments involving the sourcing of less complicated items, raw materials and/or equipment necessary for the operation of the organization. Contacts vendors examines bids and initiates contracts. Exercises a good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply to make purchases at prices consistent with quantity and quality requirements. 

Job Responsibilities:
• Sources less complex direct materials (e.g. fasteners, C Class, packaging) with suppliers that are capable of meeting the service, quality, NPI and cost requirements. 
• Work to identify opportunities for cost reductions in support of annual cost reduction objectives.
• Ensure that the Supplier Performance Index governing quality and delivery ratings are considered before deciding to procure material from a particular vendor.
• Ensures that all sourcing is based on negotiated competitive bids as submitted by qualified suppliers and in alignment with Should Cost targets (where available).
• Maintains positive working relationship with supplier base and participates in the regularly scheduled Business Reviews with suppliers. Continue to analyze and assess the adequacy of our supplier base for each category and to develop additional sources of supply where deemed advantageous.
• Some travel may be required with this role.
• Where applicable, please refer to the Company's "Schedule of Authority" in order to identify approved spending levels.
