Key responsibilities:
· Support BSC Intelligent Reporting Automation projects, develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other solutions that provide business insight
· Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Alteryx and ‘big data’ technologies
· Identify, design, and implement internal data flow-related process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
· Seek to understand business requirements for data/information and translate requirements into valuable reporting solutions
· Work with management to prioritize business and information needs and identify opportunities for advanced analytics utilization
· Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
· Design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) using aesthetic design principals and end-user experience optimization
· Perform root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
· Continuous focus on enhancements, process improvements and automation to optimize efficiency and accuracy across GRA service offerings
Qualifications/Skills:
· Undergraduate degree required; Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science or Business degree preferred
· 5+ years related experience in Reporting and Business Intelligence, Analytics tools and report Automation
· Technical expertise regarding data modeling, database design development, data cleaning and automation
· Expertise with data tools and programming languages like SQL,Python, & R, data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI, ETL tools like Alteryx
· Advanced Excel skills are a must (VBA/Macros)
· Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SAS, R) is a plus
· Strong financial acumen and strong business interaction/presentation skills
· Experience with systems and platforms like SAP ERP (ECC or S4), SAP Hana on AWS, Hyperion, SAP Ariba, Business Objects
· Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate data with ease and naturally comfortable with synthesizing complex data into workable pieces of information to deliver a selling story
· Ability to solve business problems of high complexity which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
· Must be business centric, data-oriented, analytically minded and results driven
· Demonstrated coordination skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
· Plans and organizes project assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Initiates or maintains schedule for projects and project milestones.
· Detail oriented and self-starter
· Global Experience; exposure to regional and business unit management teams
· Languages: English, additional language skills a plus
